Brewing hard cider…

This weekend we will be bottling our second batch of hard cider. This batch promises to be fairly strong considering we added too much sugar to the batch. There is such a learning curve when it comes to home brewing that I am amazed we have had any success. The cider should finish out to be very dry and likely we will need to back sweeten it quite a bit to make it suit our tastes. Right now it tastes very much like an apple wine. Hopefully, it will end of tasting okay after some aging.
