Always a surprise…

This weekend my brother-in-law and sister-in-law stopped by for a visit. We are still getting to know my sister-in-law and it is always a surprise to hear what is on her mind. This visit she surprised us by talking about wanting a child. She is a very high needs type of person and I have a hard time picturing her pregnant or caring for a child. The idea of her in maternity fashion boggles my mind. She has big issues with germs on many levels and won’t visit a hospital. I have no idea how she would approach motherhood given what I know thus far about her. I know that people do a great deal of growing and changing when they become a parent and maybe this will hold true for her. I only hope that they give themselves time to be a married couple before they embark on parenthood.
