Bird houses…

This year I decided to give the people in my life something I made with my own hands. Just about everyone in our family loves the outdoors. My son suggested that we make bird houses and give them as gifts. We sat down and came up with several styles of bird houses that we likes. After narrowing it down to 4 styles we then spent several weekends constructing them. In all we made 12 bird houses. My wife has been wanting some mason bee houses and we finally got these made as well. I decided to try my hand at making owl houses, which are significantly larger that bird houses, and have completed a couple of these as well. I really hope that people appreciate the houses that we are giving them and the thought that went into them. Even if they don’t care for them I know that my son and I had a great time making them together.
