Over the span of 16 years of marriage I have had three different wedding bands. The first band was lost during a softball game in our first year of marriage. We subsequently replaced this band with a cheap band because price was more important at the time than quality. When that band split in half it really didn’t surprise me at all given how thin it was to begin with. The third band in the series has been on my finger for the last 12 years but is now beginning to show serious wear. Because I work a great deal with my hands and often with caustic materials this ring has been rather abused. What would be ideal is if I could find and attractive and extremely durable set to surprise my wife with for Christmas. Any ideas?

Do you know anyone who has ever invented something? With the millions of products on the market it seems like all of us should know at least one person who has. I can’t think of anyone I know who has actually gotten rich from something they created. Sure I know people who have started businesses selling things that other people created. These are highly successful business owner’s with businesses so large they require cbu mailboxes but they aren’t what I would call inventors. When you watch shows like American Inventor it seems like every other house in my neighborhood could have the next Bill Gates living in it. Personally, I don’t have an ounce of inventive talent so I guess I will just sit back and wait for one of my neighbors to strike it rich and hire me to work for them .

I consider myself a fairly adept web master. There are things however that still leave me in awe of other people’s abilities. A buddy of mine just finished creating this incredible interactive website that he hopes to make into a highly traffic website that will bring in substantial income. Along the way he has asked my opinion on various aspects which is flattering. The truth is his skill far surpasses mine and I really don’t think I have much input to offer. He has been so modest about the site but if it were me I would be bragging like a new father. I know the joy of finally completing a major project like his. It makes me feel like shouting to the world or sending out birth announcements inviting people to check out my new “baby”. Hopefully, he will soon give me the okay to share the link to the site and a bit more information with all of you. It will be fun to hear if you think the site is as awesome as I think it is.

One of my goals for the Tech Inspector has been to customize the feel of this site. I love this template but after finding several other sites with the exact same look it became clear some changes need to be made. Having botched up my templates a few times on my own, making simple changes, I decided to seek out assistance this time. This search led me to Zorn

Zorn writes this incredible blog titled “Don’t Fear The Truth” that sheds refreshing insight into politics, current events, and technology. Throw in a hefty dose of personal opinion posts and humor and this blog makes for a very good read. Besides being a talented blogger Zorn also is a gifted graphics designer and has very kindly created a new header logo for the Tech Inspector. I should be rolling out the new look within the week.

Be sure to drop a comment here and also over at “Don’t Fear The Truth” to let Zorn know what you think of his work. I am heading over there right now to let him know I feel exactly the same way about the Alec Baldwin situation!
